what we collect and why.
R&R uses this site to receive staff applications, keep the application process secure, and understand how the site can be improved.
application information
when you submit an application, we receive the answers and contact details you choose to send. this can include your player name, age or eligibility answers, Discord or email contact, availability, experience, portfolio information, and role-specific answers.
authorized reviewers may also add private notes, status updates, follow-up messages, and decision history. this information is used only to review applications, contact applicants, prevent abuse or duplicate submissions, and run the R&R staff application process.
saved drafts
drafts stay in your browser until you submit or clear them. R&R admins cannot view draft answers before you submit the application.
analytics may record that a draft was saved or restored and how many questions were completed, but never the draft answers.
basic analytics
basic analytics are on by default unless you turn them off. they help us see which pages and roles people use, where applications are started or completed, where unfinished forms are usually left, which questions or fields cause validation problems, and whether the site is loading slowly.
basic analytics may include page and role views, application progress, draft actions, submission results, rough active time on an unfinished form, the last question position used before leaving, the form field connected to a validation error, page load timing, device type, broad screen size, and where a visit came from. they are stored on the R&R server and do not use a persistent ID to follow you across visits.
enhanced analytics
enhanced analytics are optional. if you allow them, the site uses random anonymous browser and session IDs so we can understand returning visits, complete sessions, which traffic sources lead to applications, and how long applications take.
the same limited analytics events may also be sent to PostHog. these anonymous IDs are not connected to your submitted application. session recording and automatic click or text capture are disabled.
what analytics do not collect
analytics do not collect application answers, draft answers, names, Discord usernames, email addresses, exact ages, portfolio contents, passwords, payment information, keystrokes, clipboard contents, precise location, or raw IP addresses.
the server may briefly process IP and browser information to block bots, prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, and keep the site secure. hosting systems may also keep normal security or access logs, but raw IP addresses are not stored in the analytics table.
storage and access
submitted applications are available only to authorized R&R reviewers and admins. analytics reports are available only to authorized admins. R&R does not sell this information or use it to build advertising lists.
raw analytics events are kept for up to 90 days. applications may be kept while they are active, under review, archived, needed for moderation or disputes, included in backups, or required for security and server operations. service providers may include R&R hosting and database services, GitHub, PostHog for enhanced analytics, and Discord for support or contact.
your choices
use the analytics settings link in the footer to keep basic analytics, allow enhanced analytics, or turn analytics off. turning analytics off stops new analytics collection in that browser. turning off enhanced analytics also removes its local anonymous IDs and requests deletion of matching first-party enhanced records.
R&R respects Global Privacy Control and uses Do Not Track as a default opt-out signal when no R&R analytics choice has been saved. you may contact an R&R admin through the official Discord support channel to ask about our data practices or request a review, correction, or removal of submitted application information when appropriate.
do not submit if you are under 13. if you are a minor, only apply if you are allowed to share the information and the role is appropriate under R&R rules. this notice may be updated when the site changes.
